Angel Cast

Angel returns from his visit to Sunnydale, but does not tell Doyle and Cordelia what happened; when Buffy suddenly walks in, they decide to leave the two of them alone. The Slayer is furious with Angel for spying on her, and for not telling her that he was in Sunnydale. Their argument is promptly interrupted by the arrival of a demon; Angel stabs it, but some of its blood mixes with his - the vampire curse is lifted, and Angel is human once more. He consults the Oracles, and they confirm his humanity. Angel waits for Buffy at the beach, and when she sees him, they begin kissing. Trying to remain calm, they talk about the potential that this new development has for their relationship, but they then end up going to bed together. As Cordelia and Doyle drown their sorrows, Doyle has a vision that more of the demons are going to be made. After Doyle informs Angel about the demons, the ex-vampire leaves Buffy sleeping and goes after the monsters alone. But without his vampire strength, Angel is badly beaten up by the demons. Buffy wakes up, and manages to get Cordelia to reveal where Angel is. Meanwhile, Angel and the demon fall into a salt chamber. Buffy is able to find them, and protects Angel from the creature; he instructs her to smash the jewel in the middle of the demon’s forehead; she has done so, and the demon dies. Angel returns to the Oracles, who foresee that Buffy will die if he remains human; on hearing this, Angel requests to be returned to his vampire self, and the Oracles reply that they will erase the events of that day, but only he will remember what happened. Angel returns to Buffy and tells her what is going to happen; they share a last kiss, and then, in a flash, things reverse to the point when Buffy first showed up. But his time, Angel kills the demon as soon as it breaks in, and then Buffy leaves.
