1999 Cast

When fifty-three strange, cylindrical objects appear in orbit around the Moon, Commander Koenig sends an Eagle to investigate. One of the objects is recovered and brought back to Moonbase Alpha, and once it is opened it is found to contain a young humanoid named Cantar, frozen in stasis for three-hundred years after being cast out from the planet Golos by invaders. Cantar asks Commander Koenig to help recover the rest of his people from orbit before they are destroyed by the Moon’s gravitational pull; Koenig agrees and a second cylinder is brought to the base. Once opened, Cantar's wife Zova emerges from the cylinder. The two Golosians work with Alpha’s technicians to increase the capacity of the base's life support so that it can cope with the additional strain that the exiles will place upon it. But unknown to the Alphans, Cantar and Zova have other plans; they take Doctor Russell and Tony Verdeschi hostage and then break into the power section of the base. After generating a transporter beam, the four of them travel to the planet Golos - where the truth about the exiles is revealed…
