1999 Cast

Commander Koenig inexplicably acts as if intoxicated and crashes Eagle Ten near the nuclear waste domes. After being pulled from the wreckage he is taken to the Medical Centre, where Doctor Russell connects him to a cerebral wave machine. Amazingly, a Superswift spaceship then arrives from Earth, and the Alphans are overjoyed to be reunited with their friends and relatives. It seems that the Alphans have been rescued, and a party begins as everyone becomes exited at the prospect of finally returning home. However, two of the new arrivals exert a strange influence over a medical orderly, making him attempt to kill Koenig; he tries to disconnect the unconscious commander from his machines, but is stopped by Doctor Russell and Doctor Vincent just in time. Koenig comes to and apparently makes a complete recovery; he is delighted to learn of the arrival of the Superswift, and joins the party in the Command Centre. But when he looks at the faces of the newcomers all he sees are the hideous, tentacled forms of horrifying alien creatures...
